Introducing Zambian Breweries' New Country Director: Thais Cavinatto

Ms. Cavinatto succeeds Michelle Kilpin, who admirably led the team from July 2021 and has since transitioned to the role of Country Director for Zambian Breweries' parent company, AB InBev's operations in Tanzania.

Bringing over eight years of extensive experience in the global beverage sector under AB InBev, Ms. Cavinatto has held various leadership roles, including her most recent position as Global BEES Vice President, Frontline Transformation. Her tenure saw her spearheading transformative initiatives, such as driving digital sales transformation through the expansion of the BEES digital platform and empowering thousands of female retailers through BEES Together.
Renowned for her visionary leadership and ability to deliver sustainable business results, Ms. Cavinatto's journey began as an Investment Banking Analyst with Goldman Sachs Brazil before venturing into roles at Ambev, where she held positions ranging from RTM Manager to Director of Technology Strategy. Her tenure culminated in her role as Global B2B Director at BEES, AB InBev's innovative business-to-business e-commerce platform.
Ms. Cavinatto holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas (Getulio Vargas Foundation) and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, underscoring her commitment to academic excellence and professional growth.
