Prominent entrepreneur Shaderick Kasanda, recognized widely as King Shad, has been taken into police custody at his residence in Ibex Hill subsequent to a thorough inquiry into the ongoing gold controversy.

Law enforcement officials have also confiscated one of his vehicles from his property as part of their investigation.

The individual in question, Shaderick Kasanda, who has earned significant attention on social media for his public displays of generosity, notably seen sharing money with his associate Chilanga Mulilo, is now facing allegations tied to the aforementioned gold imbroglio.

These allegations have drastically altered the public perception of the business magnate, who had recently been in the spotlight for his philanthropic actions.

The gold scandal, as revealed by security authorities, unfolded as an intricate swindle, resulting in the seizure of approximately USD$5 million at the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport.

Notably, the confiscated funds were accompanied by what was purported to be gold aboard a private jet. Subsequent investigations, however, indicated that the seized material was in fact composed of Copper, Zinc, and traces of Tin, not authentic gold.

Following an extensive search of his residence spanning nearly three hours, Shaderick Kasanda has been apprehended by the police on suspicion of his involvement in the gold scandal. He is currently undergoing questioning to ascertain the extent of his connection to the alleged fraudulent activities.
